WS PDAI Squix
WS PDAI Squix is a Weihenstephan Standard Production Data Acquisition Interface for cab Squix printers.
Squix printers are thermal printers produced by German company cab Produkttechnik we are representing in our region.
Thermal printers are mostly used for manual labelling of pallets and transport packages with logistic labels and declarations.
When developing the WS PDAI Squix interface, we opted for the WS Brew version 09.01 interface standard specification. It is intended for breweries and beverage producers. The WS PDAI Squix interface can optionally be customized to Bake, Food or Pack standards.
Interface hardware consists of:
- metal electric cabinet,
- programable controller (PLC) and
- com-server for Ethernet network connection.
Solution includes communication by standard data tags applicable for manual labelling with thermal printers. Tags are from chapters Data for machine communication, Batch and item tracing, Time synchronization and device operating state. There is also option to implement some additional tags based on defining details regarding their implementation.
WS PDAI Squix interface scope of delivery contains:
- electric cabinet with PLC and communication equipment,
- PLC software
- User manual,
- Testing documentation and
- Declaration of Compliance certificate.
